Nordic Semiconductor is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our ATE Engineering team in Taiwan. As a Test Engineer, you assume responsibility for the quality and timeliness of results for a portion of the project/process. You collaborate with both internal and external teams to develop test programs, primarily for high-volume production purposes, but also for product qualification and failure analysis. You are expected to conduct analysis and evaluation using standard engineering methods, make intricate technical decisions, and independently implement checks and balances to minimize the impact of errors. You are also accountable for ensuring accuracy, reliability, and proper documentation, as well as providing progress reports for your assignments. Key responsibilities
Development, from Test Specification to sign-off for production, of ATE Test solutions for the company’s products as assigned to him/her on an individual product basis
Representing the company in managing outsourced ATE Test solution development projects as assigned to him/her on an individual product basis
Execution of tasks involving ATE testing during Product Qualification and Failure Analysis
Keeping the company’s ATE tools maintained and up-to-date, this includes upgrades, re-locations and platform changes.
Maintenance and expansion of the company’s knowledge of ATE technology and solutions according to the company’s strategic direction
Keeping the company’s ATE lab tidy and with all HW- and SW tools and toolings in an identifiable and retrievable state
Key Qualifications
Master's or bachelor's degree in Electronics & Electrical, Computer Science Engineering, or other relevant field
At least 5 years in ATE test solution development
Preferred experience with LTX-Credence Unison OS (D10/Diamond X)
Programming experience with C++ & RF devices is a strong plus
Fluent in English (oral and written)
