Your Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain functional safety software components for automotive controllers, including ECM3 (ASIL Level 3), WDGM and SafeCom. Develop Safety Island software for SoC platforms.
- Cooperate with cross-functional teams to clarify software requirements and technical specifications.
- Implement and optimize software modules with guaranteed high performance and robustness.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing and integration testing to secure overall software quality.
- Collaborate with global colleagues and attend regular worldwide meetings focusing on functional safety topics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects with timely fixes. Configure and integrate AUTOSAR safety modules via mainstream tools including Vector, EB and ETAS. Keep track of cutting-edge automotive industry technologies and trends to iteratively optimize software development workflows.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other relevant disciplines.
- A minimum of 3 years of embedded software development experience with a specialization in automotive embedded systems.
- Practical hands-on experience developing ASIL Level 3 safety software for automotive ECUs/controllers.
- Experience in low-level programming (device drivers, peripheral drivers, MCAL etc.) and AUTOSAR configuration with Vector, EB or ETAS tools is a bonus.
- Skilled use of debugging and testing tools: Lauterbach Trace32, JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, CANoe/CAN analyzers.
- Advanced proficiency in C programming.
- Working knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety and ASPICE compliance is preferred.
- Familiarity with common embedded development toolchains: compilers, debuggers and version control systems.
- Outstanding troubleshooting capability and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
- Solid oral and written English capability for global collaboration.
