Job Description
- Lead procurement activities for indirect equipment categories, including machinery, production support equipment, warehouse equipment, tools, technical materials, spare parts, office equipment, operational assets and services.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes from requirement collection to supplier selection, negotiation, ordering, and delivery follow-up.
- Evaluate technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Conduct supplier negotiations to secure the best total cost of ownership, delivery conditions, warranty terms, and payment agreements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international equipment suppliers.
- Identify alternative sources and drive supplier diversification initiatives.
- Support CAPEX purchasing activities, including equipment investments and facility-related procurement projects.
- Monitor market trends, technological developments, and pricing dynamics to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure timely procurement of critical equipment and materials to avoid operational disruptions.
- Prepare procurement reports, supplier performance analyses, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ethical sourcing standards.
- Support indirect service procurement activities when required, including maintenance, facility, and professional services purchases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in indirect procurement, with a strong focus on equipment, technical materials, machinery, or CAPEX/OPEX purchasing.
- Proven experience in supplier management and commercial negotiations.
- Ability to review technical specifications and collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP experience is preferred).
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
