Creates plans, forecasts, and schedules relating to materials required and maintains proper inventory levels to meet operational requirements.

Job Requirements

• Participate in company safety training and comply with EHS policies.
• Responsible for production planning, scheduling and inventory control using SAP.
• Work closely with Production and plant support teams to ensure effective execution of plans.
• Develop production plans that meet customer service requirements while maintaining optimal inventory and manufacturing costs.
• Create and release production orders based on demand, component availability and capacity constraints.
• Manage MRP exception reports and optimize finished goods inventory.
• Provide product availability information to Customer Service and confirm customer orders in SAP.
• Reduce past-due orders and drive pull-in improvement actions.
• Participate in weekly and monthly production review meetings.
• Minimize premium freight costs while ensuring customer delivery requirements are met.
• Monitor capacity utilization and production order fulfillment to support on-time delivery.

 

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in production and material planning.
Advanced SAP knowledge.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Good spoken and written English.

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
