QualificationsThese knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of a standard high school course with course work in the Building Trades, or two (2) years of vocational technical school training in the Building Trades; two (2) years of experience in building inspection or four (4) years of experience in building construction; and one (1) year of supervisory experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Must possess certification as a Commercial Building Inspector from the International Code Council within one (1) year of employment and maintain authorization for duration of employment in this position.
• Must possess Citation Authority Certification within one (1) year of employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position.
• Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
