To strengthen our team in Greensboro, NC, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Label Manufacturing Manager in our Flexo department! 

Primary Responsibilities:

• You will maintain a safe work environment that engages employees in safe work practices, identifies and manages risk, and meets regulatory requirements. 
• You will develop a culture of safety compliance through training, reinforcement of risk management practices, and continuous observation and correction.
• You will audit processes to ensure that the manufacturing discipline is adhering to production and quality procedures and practices.
• You will develop, implement, and sustain a continuous improvement program for the Label department that meets or exceeds facility improvement targets.
• You will provide coaching, training, and resources to enable successful performance.
• You will sustain and improve the employee training program to ensure that all employees have the support to efficiently gain the skills required to be successful. 
• You will collaborate and support the activities of the Quality Manager in the establishment of quality management procedures, specification, and continuous improvement quality activities. 
• You will coordinate with and support the activities of the Materials and Production Planning Manager in developing production plans, schedules, and controlling materials.
• You will attend production meetings and present on the success/failures/challenges/opportunities of the process and employees in the Label Department
• You will coordinate with the commercial team on assigned projects to assist in product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• You have a degree in a related field (Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent of related work experience)
• You have already gained 3-5 years of experience in a comparable position and like to work in a fast-pace environment  
• You will have experience with business related software as well as pre-press related software.
• You will have experience managing a department as well as a team.
• You will have familiarity with pharmaceutical printing or the packaging industry.
• You must have excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills.
