RAYUS Radiology is looking for an Operations Manager to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all operational aspects of running Center(s) in the assigned Market(s). Operational responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning, team member management, budget management, working closely with all partners, maintaining relationships with referring groups, and on-going customer service functions. This position is also responsible for meeting the quality and operational goals (i.e., efficiency, productivity, costs) for the Market. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week; Corporate hours. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(40%) Center Operations

  • Remain visible at centers and understands the Center's team member engagement, overall morale and workload
  • Maintain productive relationships with the Center's customer base in defined market through delivery of extraordinary customer service
  • Arrange appropriate physician coverage for all contrast and sedation studies
  • Interface with Radiologists to create and maintain up-to-date protocol manuals for all modalities
  • Interfaces with Medical Director, SVP, and/or all technical and administrative team members to ensure effective teamwork and efficient Center operations
  • Administer quality programs and meets or exceeds key quality and productivity measures in patient service, customer (referral) service, clinical programs, and administrative functions
  • Maintains a safe environment for patients, technologists, radiologists and any other Center team members with the assistance of the Center's safety coordinator
  • Collaborate with the Market Success sales team, patients, and referring physicians/offices to ensure satisfaction
  • Attend Market Success sales calls and lunch meetings with the sales team, providing operations knowledge and to act as a resource
  • Partner with the Marketing department in the development of mailing collateral for the defined Market(s)
  • Proactively identify and assist in targeting payor relationship opportunities in the Market
  • Proactively monitor payor referral activity
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines

(30%) Team Member Management

  • Manage and assist in the training of new team members and supervisors, providing resource and technical expertise
  • Manage team member performance evaluations, compensation recommendations and development of team members, including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and/or termination
  • Lead & schedule regular team meetings and team member one-on-one discussions
  • Supports and conducts training efforts for continuing education for the technologists and registered nurses
  • Ensure all technologists are compliant with CEU credits, in good standing with appropriate registries, updated with CPR credits, etc.
  • Maintain team member retention by implementing effective retention strategies to support high engagement levels and encourage open communication in an emotionally safe environment
  • Implement strategies to promote teamwork within the Center and with other team members, including management and radiologists

(25%) Center Planning

  • Plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc. necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation
  • Develop and manage the budget for the Center(s) and recommends financial decisions
  • Proactively monitor the performance and profitability of services offered
  • Provide ongoing and timely communication to management and team members regarding Center performance, team performance, events, issues, etc.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School diploma, or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in a medical, business management, or related relevant and applicable field
  • Five (5) years' relevant and applicable medical experience
  • Three (3) years' experience managing a team of direct reports
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
  • Some travel is required between sites; a reliable means of transportation is required.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance, if personally driving a vehicle for company business, regardless of whether it's a company or personal car

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, or a related relevant and applicable field
  • Two (2) years' marketing and sales experience in a healthcare field
  • ARRT RT Certification or RN Licensure, current and in good standing
