As the Finance Manger for Ventures this position will be operating in a growth oriented and fast-paced business environment which requires high energy, time-management and organization. The manager will be responsible for providing financial analysis and audit support to the Finance Director for UH Ventures. This position will interact with multiple business leaders on behalf of the Finance Director on various financial affairs and presentations. Provide financial guidance and support to various operational leaders related to the business units. Prepares and coordinates submission of annual budgets, strategic plan, and forecasts for UH Ventures. Serve as a resource and financial advisor on special projects, new business plans, joint ventures and other initiatives as needed.
Some travel is expected as necessary to meet business needs. The manager may be engaged in cross-departmental and cross-functional projects as necessary.
QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree, in Accounting or Finance (Required)
Master's Degree in Business Administration (Preferred)
Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant job experience
Working knowledge of:
U.S. GAAP
Financial Statements
Cost accounting
Revenue cycle
Utilization management and productivity
Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, General ledger, Accounts Payable and Cost accounting systems.
Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Extensive knowledge of Excel required.
