We are looking for an experienced, efficient and people-focused HR Recruiter - Bulk Hiring to join our Talent Acquisition team. The role will manage high-volume recruitment campaigns across multiple functions and locations, delivering an excellent candidate experience while meeting hiring targets and timelines. The successful candidate will be organised, data-driven, and able to work with hiring managers and operational teams to scale hiring quickly and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end bulk recruitment: Own the full recruitment lifecycle for high-volume roles including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management and onboarding coordination.

  • Sourcing and attraction: Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, employee referrals, recruitment agencies and community outreach to build robust candidate pipelines.

  • Candidate screening and assessment: Conduct efficient screening calls, structured interviews and assessments to identify fit against role requirements and company values.

  • Hiring manager partnership: Work closely with hiring managers to define role profiles, agree selection criteria, schedule interviews and provide recruitment guidance and market insight.

  • Selection and offers: Prepare and present shortlists, manage offer approvals, extend offers, negotiate terms where appropriate and ensure timely acceptance and acceptance tracking.

  • Onboarding coordination: Liaise with HR Operations and line managers to ensure smooth pre-boarding and induction for large cohorts; track completion of required checks and documentation.

  • Recruitment operations and compliance: Maintain accurate candidate and vacancy records in the ATS/HRIS, ensure recruitment processes comply with employment law and company policies, and manage background checks and right-to-work verification for bulk intakes.

  • Reporting and analytics: Produce regular recruitment metrics and dashboards (time-to-fill, time-to-hire, source of hire, offer acceptance rates, diversity metrics) and use insights to optimise campaign performance.

  • Employer brand and candidate experience: Promote a positive employer brand throughout the candidate journey, respond promptly to enquiries and recommend improvements to processes and communication.

  • Vendor and event management: Coordinate with external recruitment partners and manage on-site or virtual hiring events, assessment centres and campus drives.

  • Continuous improvement: Identify efficiencies in bulk hiring workflows, standardise selection tools and interview guides, and contribute to recruitment projects and best practice sharing across HR.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2+ years’ experience in high-volume or campus recruitment, agency recruitment or large-scale hiring programmes. Candidates with a strong track record in fast-paced operational hiring will be considered.

  • Practical knowledge of UK employment legislation and right-to-work checks.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Proven experience using ATS/HRIS systems; ability to maintain accurate data and run recruitment reports.

  • Strong sourcing skills across digital channels, social media and talent pools.

  • Competence with Microsoft Excel (filters, pivot tables) and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.

  • Familiarity with assessment tools and structured interview techniques.

  • Quality of hire as measured by early performance and retention of bulk intakes.

  • Accuracy and timeliness of ATS records and recruitment reports.

  • Candidate satisfaction and employer brand metrics for large campaigns.
