Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Operations, Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation management.
- Experience managing Japanese or Global transportation networks, freight budgets, and managing relationships with regional or world leading transportation service providers.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- 4 years of experience optimizing operations through data analysis, performance metrics, and drive process improvements.
- Knowledge and experience in logistics and transportation ERP systems (i.e.TMS).

- Manage pre-production, B2B, B2C, B2G, inbound, and internal transfer flows for Google hardware across APAC, with a focus on the Japan market. Optimize network routing and service levels to consistently hit core KPIs: OTD, C2D cycle times, TAT, In-Transit Compliance (ITC), and Cost Per Unit (CPU).
- Track carrier performance against SLAs, lead business reviews, resolve operational issues, expand carrier capabilities, and build strategic partnerships to ensure total network resilience.
- Act as the primary cross-functional escalation POC, working with partners to resolve issues quickly, perform root cause analyses, and refine processes to prevent recurrence.
- Enhance APAC shipment visibility, leverage data insights to drive decisions, and build automated reporting tools to maximize overall productivity.
- Drive hardware sustaining distribution and NPI launches, with best delivery customer experience, secure, compliant operations adhering strictly to trade and dangerous goods regulations.
