Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer will interact with our customers and provide industry-leading processing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills and will bring expertise in electrical solutions with a commitment to customer focus, quality, and innovation. This person will impact the organization by working independently in project teams within different scopes projects. Make technical decisions and be responsible for the electrical solutions and standards compliance.
This position is based in Cuautitlan Izcalli, Estado de Mexico.
You may be required to travel up to 35% of your time domestically and internationally.

What you will do
As an Electrical Engineer, you will:
- Provide technical electrical support both internally and towards customers
- Be responsible for technical solutions within the department and on projects
- Be responsible for defining standards and guidelines within the department
- Have technical discussions with customers and/or suppliers
- Validate / review electrical technical solutions
- Coordination of electrical contractors on site
- Work in cross collaboration in Americas region.
- Mentor and train colleagues on area specifics
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in Electrical Industry and / or Automation Engineering
- Experience in design and specify a Motor Control Center and electrical cabinets
- Design and review of electrical drawings for installations, including cables and trays specifications following the industry standards.
- Good knowledge in grounding system
- Strong knowledge of electrical instrumentation
- Good level of design skills and troubleshooting capability of electrical (up to 600 VAC) and pneumatic systems are required.
- Knowledge of the following requirements: Nema 4X, NPFA 70, NPFA 70E, NPFA 79, UL 98, UL467, CEC, NEC, CSA, CFR, Nom-001-SEDE-2012.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Visio and Project,
- Mandatory working experience with AutoCAD and Eplan
- Experience with electrical engineering in the food industry is strongly desired. Knowledge of automation tools and products.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong, positive oral & written communication skills both internally and with customers are required.
