Job Summary

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance to local / statutory and group reporting. Your will be responsible for Leading, directing, evaluating and developing the team of accounting professionals in Serbia to ensure that accounting activities are completed accurately and on time. You will be based in Belgrade, Serbia.

What you will do
  • As an Accounting & Tax Manager you will:
  • Support Accounting & Finance Manager RS, HR, SI & RO in effective delivery of services
  • Execute activities to meet group, local & statutory reporting needs
  • Support FD in ensuring FRM and group reporting requirements are met
  • Execute processes with the requisite controls
  • Responsible for tax accounting    
  • Responsible for statutory reporting and government statistical surveys
  • Support FDs in complying with local treasury & statutory regulations
  • Support FDs in internal and external audits
  • Adopt global process, best practices and related improvements
  • Execute continuous improvement/WCM methodologies and deliver improvements
  • Implement standardization of relevant level 5/6 processes
  • Manage, coach and mentor direct reports to improve performance
  • Deliver relevant SLAs/ metrics
We believe you have
  • University/College degree in Accounting or Finance/Economics
  • Minimum five years of experience in accounting
  • An ACCA/CIMA qualification or experience to the same level is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Serbian accounting, tax legislation and IFRS
  • Fluent English and Serbian knowledge
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • SAP system knowledge is an advantage
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent reporting skills
  • Strong Business Understanding
  • Proactive in business decision making process
  • Flexible attitude to work, both proactive and reactive
  • Strong personal drive, an ability to make things happen and see things through to completion
  • Displays strong team working behaviours and is supportive to colleagues
  • Tenacious problem solver with determination to identify, flag and explain root causes of problems and make recommendation.
