About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Onboarding & Transfers Lead to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract. You'll play a key role in shaping the onboarding and transfer experience, ensuring customers are connected accurately, compliantly and on time while driving operational excellence, continuous improvement and strong business outcomes.

  • Lead end-to-end onboarding, transfers and market transaction activities to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Drive improvements to activation, transaction success rates and first-time-right outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Digital, Customer Contact, Compliance and Technology teams to enhance customer journeys and operational performance.
  • Use data, insights and automation opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce customer effort and support scalable growth.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational risks, process bottlenecks and customer pain points across the onboarding lifecycle.
  • Establish strong controls, governance and performance frameworks to support compliance, service quality and operational resilience.

 

About You

You're a customer-focused operations leader with deep experience in the retail energy sector and a track record of improving complex processes. You'll bring strong analytical capability, commercial awareness and the ability to influence stakeholders across a broad range of business functions.

  • Extensive experience in retail energy operations, including market transactions, billing, metering and regulatory obligations.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex data, identify trends and implement practical solutions that improve performance.
  • Strong experience driving continuous improvement, process optimisation and operational transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of risk management, operational controls and compliance requirements.
  • Advanced skills in reporting and analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI and SQL.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams and external partners.
