Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose :
We are looking for a Associate/Senior Associate Scientist - Analytical Sciences to join our ambitious team at our IGTech center. The incumbent in this role will be responsible for end to end planning & implementation in partnership with local & global analytical & product development teams for respective categories for India and other Colgate Zones while being compliant to defined safety, quality & regulatory norms
Responsibilities:
- Provide Analytical expertise to Personal Care Stability and Raw Material Qualifications for India, and Europe markets
- Collaborate with Analytical, Product development teams, Procurement, and Suppliers for raw material qualifications, root cause analysis and drafting product specifications
- Coordinate with external labs and institutes for advanced analytical technique and derive deeper insights
- Analyze raw materials, experimental formulas, finished products, and troubleshooting samples.
- Follow written analytical lab procedures, experimental methods and published standard or compendia sources. Should be well versed with reading and understanding compendia method.
- Perform and report the results of routine analysis using Analytical techniques in a cGMP environment.
- Coordinate with external labs and institutes for advanced analytical techniques.
- Maintain, calibrate, qualify and troubleshoot instrumentation. Maintain accurate, up to date and concise laboratory records.

- Demonstrate knowledge in the identified scientific field. Stay relevant of the latest technical developments and breakthroughs by drawing on industry contacts, scientific literature, publications, regulations,conferences, and patent filings.
- Build on technical expertise, expanding it in complementary directions. Use technical expertise and creativity to proactively identify potential problems and address them using appropriate resources.
- Be 100% compliant to all Product Safety, Quality, and Regulatory requirements to operate with cost effectiveness and drive agility.
- Practice good documentation and data integrity practices.
Required Qualifications :

Education: M.Sc. in Analytical Science, Inorganic/Organic Chemistry, Bioanalytical Chemistry, or a related scientific field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an analytical laboratory environment.

Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HPLC, GC, FTIR, and Potentiometric analysis

Compliance: Proven working experience operating within cGMP norms and maintaining rigorous documentation practices.
Preferred Qualifications :

Industry Experience: Previous experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or FMCG industry is highly preferred.

Communication: Strong business presentation skills and the ability to communicate technical data to non-technical stakeholders.

Leadership & Agility: Proven ability to handle business programs independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Collaboration: A collaborative mindset with the ability to integrate seamlessly into high-performing, cross-functional teams.
