This is a senior leadership opportunity combining operational excellence, commercial accountability, strategic partnerships and meaningful community impact. You will build the capability of senior leaders, strengthen relationships with schools and key stakeholders, and use financial and operational insights to support quality, growth and sustainable service performance.

Experience within education, childcare or community services would be valuable, but it is not essential. We are equally interested in experienced operational leaders from other complex, multi-site and customer-focused environments.

  • Career development: Continue developing your leadership capability within a large, purpose-led international organisation.
  • Family support: Access paid parental leave and up to 50% off childcare fees.
  • Health and lifestyle benefits: Access our Employee Assistance Program and discounts across health, wellbeing, travel, shopping, dining and entertainment.
  • Recognition and rewards: Benefit from employee recognition programs and generous referral bonuses.

About the Role

You will be accountable for the operational, commercial and customer performance of a portfolio of services, leading through Regional Managers to deliver consistently strong outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, coaching and developing Regional Managers to build a capable and accountable leadership team
  • Driving operational and financial performance across a complex multi-site portfolio
  • Managing budgets, workforce performance, revenue, service costs and broader commercial outcomes
  • Using data and insights to identify risks, trends and opportunities
  • Building strategic partnerships with schools, key accounts, government bodies and community stakeholders
  • Supporting contract performance, retention, renewals and sustainable growth
  • Leading change, continuous improvement and the consistent adoption of systems, policies and processes
  • Strengthening service quality, governance, risk management and regulatory compliance
  • Ensuring child safety and wellbeing remain central to operational and strategic decision-making

Who We’re Looking For

We can teach you about JAG and the Outside School Hours Care sector. What you will bring is:

  • Significant operational leadership experience across a multi-site or geographically dispersed portfolio
  • Experience leading senior leaders through multiple layers of management
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including responsibility for budgets, workforce planning and Profit and Loss performance
  • A demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic customer, client or stakeholder partnerships
  • Experience delivering operational improvement, growth, transformation or organisational change
  • Strong judgement and confidence using data to guide decisions
  • Experience operating within a complex, regulated or risk-sensitive environment

Experience within education, childcare, care or community services will be highly regarded, but is not essential.

Qualifications

  • Australian working rights
  • A current driver’s licence and ability to travel across the portfolio as required
  • A current or obtainable National Police Check
  • A current or obtainable Working with Children Check
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, management, education or a related discipline will be highly regarded; equivalent senior leadership experience will also be considered
