We deliver the best GIS solutions in the world, with the brightest minds on the map.
At Esri Indonesia, we're passionate about helping organisations solve real-world challenges through the power of location intelligence. As part of Boustead Geospatial, we work with governments, utilities, natural resources, defence, telecommunications and commercial organisations across the region to deliver industry-leading geospatial technology and solutions.
We're looking for an experienced Human Resources leader to join our team in Jakarta and play a key role in supporting the continued growth and success of our business.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources based in Australia and working closely with our Country Manager and leadership team in Indonesia, you will lead the local HR function while helping deliver Group people initiatives across a dynamic multinational environment.
You will be supported by a team of two HR Specialists and become an integral member of our regional HR leadership team, partnering with HR leaders across Boustead Geospatial to shape people strategies, share best practice and contribute to regional initiatives.
About the Role
You will be the trusted HR partner to our business leaders, helping shape organisational capability while ensuring our people experience supports continued business growth. You will combine strategic HR business partnering with hands-on operational leadership, providing advice across workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance, learning and development, employee engagement, remuneration, payroll, employee relations and HR compliance.
Success in this role will come from building trusted relationships, influencing leaders, using data to support decision making, and continuously improving how HR supports the business. You'll also play an important role in driving HR technology adoption, supporting our Workday journey and helping modernise HR processes across the organisation.
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with operational delivery and wants to make a genuine impact within a growing international technology business. You'll have the autonomy to lead the HR function in Indonesia while benefiting from the support and collaboration of an experienced regional HR leadership team, providing exposure and development opportunities rarely found in standalone country HR roles.
About You
You're an experienced HR leader who enjoys partnering with the business, influencing senior stakeholders and building high-performing teams. You're commercially minded, approachable and confident providing advice that balances employee experience with business outcomes.
You bring broad HR management experience gained within a multinational or complex organisation and are comfortable leading both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR operations. You are recognised for your sound judgement, integrity and ability to navigate sensitive situations with confidence.
To be successful, you'll ideally bring:
- At least seven years' experience across human resources, including HR business partnering and operational HR leadership.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring an HR team.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian employment law, BPJS, payroll administration and statutory reporting.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing business decisions.
- Exposure to workforce planning, organisational development, performance management and employee engagement.
- Experience working within a multinational organisation or matrix environment.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to collaborate regularly with regional stakeholders, including your manager based in Australia.
- Experience with Workday or other contemporary enterprise HRIS will be highly regarded.
- A passion for continuous improvement, technology and creating exceptional employee experiences.
If you're looking for a role where you can influence business outcomes, lead meaningful HR initiatives and be part of an organisation investing in its people, we would love to hear from you.
