About the role
Based in Osborne Park, this 12-month fixed-term opportunity plays a key role in delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects that support essential services across Perth Metro Area.
Responsible for managing projects through all stages of the project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction, commissioning and handover, you will work closely with contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
This role offers a combination of project leadership, stakeholder engagement and on-site involvement, providing the opportunity to contribute to the renewal and enhancement of critical water infrastructure assets.

What you can expect with this role
- Managing water and wastewater infrastructure Minor Capital Projects and OPEX projects through all phases, from planning and design to construction, commissioning and handover.
- Coordinating contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Monitoring project schedules, costs, risks and performance, providing regular progress updates and recommendations.
- Supporting tendering and contract management activities, including reviewing submissions, administering contracts and assessing contractor performance.
- Conducting site inspections and leading project meetings to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality and engineering standards.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, support project delivery and achieve positive outcomes for customers and the community.
Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for great talent with:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline preferred, with demonstrated experience delivering infrastructure or engineering projects.
- Strong project management capability, including planning, coordinating and delivering projects through design, construction and handover phases.
- Experience managing contractors, consultants and suppliers, with sound knowledge of tendering, contract administration and procurement processes.
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across diverse groups.
- Sound understanding of safety, environmental and quality requirements, with a commitment to ensuring compliance throughout project delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to manage competing priorities and achieve successful project outcomes.
