Quality Assurance & Testing
· Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans and test cases.
· Perform functional, integration, system, regression and drives user acceptance testing.
· Conduct non-functional tests including performance, load, stress and security testing.
Automation Engineering
· Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks (UI, API, and integration).
· Automate repetitive test scenarios to improve efficiency and CI/CD pipeline coverage.
· Integrate automated tests into build pipelines and ensure reliable test execution.
Collaboration & Delivery
· Work closely with developers, business analysts and product owners to refine requirements.
· Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
· Support the testing lifecycle during deployments and release cycles.
Defect Management
· Identify, document, and track defects through proper defect management tools.
· Work with engineering teams to perform root-cause analysis and validate fixes.
· Ensure defects are resolved within agreed timelines.
Leadership & Best Practices
· Mentor junior test engineers and guide them on QA techniques and automation.
· Establish QA standards, improve test processes and promote a quality-first culture.
· Evaluate new testing tools, techniques and frameworks.
Requirements
· Min 6 years in software testing and quality engineering.· Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD principles.
· Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as:
o Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
o JUnit/TestNG, Cucumber, UIPath, Watermelon, Postman/Newman
· Experience with REST API and microservices testing.
· Some level of exposure in one or more scripting/programming languages (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python).
· Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
· Strong skills in test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities. · Experience in banking & financial services testing (e.g. KYC, AML, onboarding systems) is preferred.
· Experience with security testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite) is desirable.
· Knowledge of contract testing (Pact) and service virtualization is advantageous.
· Having base understanding of cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized apps (Docker/Kubernetes) is extremely desirable.
· Familiarity with GitOps and DevOps practices.
