The Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications while collaborating closely with IT managers and project teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and project objectives.

Requirements Analysis & Solution Design

Collaborate with IT Managers and stakeholders to gather business requirements; Translate requirements into technical and functional specifications

Application Development

Design, code, and enhance Java applications using appropriate frameworks; Follow coding standards and best practices.

High-quality, maintainable, and scalable Java applications delivered on time.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Prepare unit and integration test cases; Execute tests and fix defects; Participate in code reviews.

Troubleshoot application issues; Provide timely fixes and updates; Collaborate with QA and operations teams.

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering , or a related field.

·        A Master’s degree is a plus but not mandatory.

Optional Certifications:

·        Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) – Java SE or equivalent.

·        Spring Professional Certification or certifications in related Java frameworks.

·        Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) or Agile/Scrum certification (if working in Agile teams).

·        Cloud Platform Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Azure Developer) – beneficial for cloud-based projects.

·        Any other industry-recognized certifications relevant to software development, application security, or DevOps practices.

·        Strong programming skills in Java , with experience in Spring Boot (mandatory), Spring, and Java EE .

·        Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Oracle DB, and Microsoft SQL Server .

·        Experience in designing and implementing Microservices Architecture .

·        Good knowledge of JSON, RESTful APIs, and Web Services .

·        Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with high attention to detail.

·        Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

·        Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.

·        Capable of working independently with minimal supervision .
