Senior Research Assistant (Part-time), School of Nursing and Midwifery

This is a grant-funded, part-time contractual position.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- assist research team in carrying out day-to-day research work
- support and monitor all research related activities
- develop coordination mechanism amongst the team members
- ensure and facilitate transparent data collection and management processes including planning, collection, cleaning, analysis and storing
- assist in data entry, analysis and dissemination
- maintain liaison with the relevant stakeholders for the smooth implementation of all necessary project activities
- follow-up project’s field implementation related SOPs and guidelines as defined in the research project
- ensure quality control by random checks and field monitoring
- keep track and follow-up with research teams on progress reports of the project
- help in module development, delivery and its validation process
- help with developing manuals, PowerPoint presentations and facilitate the session as per need
- communicate with the media about the interventions as suggested by the PI
- prepare and present periodic project-related activity reports and write a comprehensive report toward the project completion
- assist in manuscript writing, journal submission and dissemination.
Requirements:
You should have:
- a bachelor degree in public health or healthcare management. However a master degree in the relevant field will be preferred
- at least two years of relevant experience in any reputable organization
- excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills
- proficiency in the use of computer applications, particularly MS Office
- ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
- ability to work effectively with research team and resilience to cope-up with work pressure
- excellent communication and report writing and presentations skills
- willingness to work in a community setting and travel if required.
