We're seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer who enjoys combining technical leadership with project delivery responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who thrives in a dynamic consulting environment and wants to play a key role across the full project lifecycle.
Based in our Christchurch office and working as part of our multi-disciplinary team, you'll lead the delivery of electrical engineering solutions across a range of energy, resources and industrial projects. In addition to providing technical expertise, you'll support project planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement and execution activities, helping ensure projects are delivered safely, successfully and sustainably.

What You'll Do
- Lead electrical engineering design and technical delivery across feasibility, FEED and detailed design phases.
- Prepare and review calculations, specifications, reports and technical documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior and intermediate engineers.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
- Support project planning, scheduling, forecasting, risk management and progress reporting.
- Manage technical interfaces with clients, vendors and contractors.
- Monitor project scope, budget and schedule performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Lead design reviews, risk assessments and project meetings.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects safely, efficiently and sustainably.
What You'll Have
- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Significant New Zealand electrical engineering experience within consulting, engineering, energy, resources or industrial environments.
- Proven experience leading electrical engineering design and technical delivery on complex projects.
- Demonstrated project engineering or project delivery experience, including coordination of multidisciplinary teams and project interfaces.
- Extensive knowledge of the fundamental requirements of electrical engineering and applicable industry standards.
- Strong client-facing, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- CPEng registration, or the ability to obtain registration in New Zealand.
- Ability to balance technical excellence with project outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
