Customer Success Manager (m/w/d)

No Isolation
Frankfurt am Main, GermanyFull TimeMid-levelPosted Today

Do you have a background in the education sector (e.g in a Schulleitung, Rektorat or Stellvertretende Schulleitung space) and a desire to multiply your impact across hundreds of schools and local authorities? Are you passionate about helping educators tackle school absence through technology? No Isolation is looking for a Customer Success Manager with your experience to join our team.

We're growing in Germany, and with more schools, municipalities, and education authorities adopting AV1 every term, we need someone who understands the German education system from the inside and can ensure a successful adoption and usage of our technology.

Many of our team members already have backgrounds in school settings and local education authorities. Our Director of Customer Success, Simone, is a qualified teacher with nearly 30 years of experience, spanning roles as Senior Teacher, Special Educational Needs Teacher, Headteacher, before running an education team at a local authority. You won't need to explain the great world you're coming from.

About Us

We're a 65-person EdTech scale-up operating across Europe, on a mission to help educators bring learning and belonging for every child.

Our AV1 robot is deployed across 19 countries with 5,000+ units, supporting schools to improve attendance, belonging, and continuity of learning for children who cannot be physically present. Consistently described as life-changing, it bridges the gap between the student and their peers, restoring both educational continuity and the essential sense of social belonging.

Why this role matters:

✅ Help educators tackle one of the biggest challenges facing education today.

✅ Create lasting impact for children who cannot attend school.

✅ Join a company where your work is valued, your voice matters, and your wellbeing is prioritised.

The Opportunity — Customer Success Manager (m/w/d)

This is more than just a job. This is a chance to partner with educators, schools, municipalities (Kommunen), and education authorities across North Rhine–Westphalia (NRW) to tackle school absence, one of the biggest challenges facing education today. By helping them implement AV1, you'll enable absent students to stay connected to learning and belonging while supporting their successful return to the classroom.

Globally, we've already empowered educators to help over 15,000 pupils back into school. In this role, you'll be extending that impact across NRW. In practice, this means that:

  • You'll build trusted partnerships with schools, municipalities (Kommunen), and education authorities, becoming a valued advisor on tackling school absence and helping customers achieve long-term success with AV1.

  • You'll lead customer onboarding and implementation projects, defining success measures and ensuring customers realise the full value of AV1.

  • You'll become the go-to expert on AV1, advising on best practice, change management, and how to maximise adoption and impact.

  • You'll work closely with our Account Managers to engage education leaders and decision-makers, identify opportunities to expand the adoption of AV1 across schools, trusts, local authorities, and regions, and support strategic customer conversations.

  • You'll bring credibility, insight, and empathy to every interaction, helping educators create lasting impact while strengthening AV1's reach across Germany.

Drawing on your background in education, you will ensure AV1 is not just technology, but a meaningful inclusion tool within the German education system. Your insights from the field — what's working, what schools are struggling with, where the German education system is heading — will help us continuously improve how we support schools and adapt to the evolving education landscape.

What You Bring — Experience & Capabilities

If you have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the education sector, ideally some in a leadership position, and are curious about how your expertise can create impact beyond the traditional classroom, this could be the opportunity for you.

You will likely recognise yourself in the following:

  • Education background: Experience in teaching, school leadership, advisory roles, inclusion, or school development — ideally as a senior practitioner (e.g. in Schulleitung, Rektorat or Stellvertretende Schulleitung roles).

  • Strong understanding of how to navigate the German education system, particularly Länder structures, Schulträger, and Kommunen.

  • Experience collaborating with schools, municipalities, or education authorities at a leadership level.

  • Ability to navigate both pedagogical and administrative contexts.

  • Native or near-native (C1/C2) German, with good written and spoken English.

  • You bring credibility, empathy, and structure into every conversation and are comfortable taking ownership.

Why You’ll Love it Here

  • Impact beyond single school/classroom: You're still in education, still shaping how children experience learning and belonging, just from a different perspective, and at a larger scale than any single school.

  • No bureaucracy: Less paperwork, more time actually impacting the educational sector.

  • A purpose-led culture: We are deeply committed to our mission. We set high standards and we support each other with genuine care. You will join a purpose-led team that gives you the space to do your best work.

  • A team of education experts: You will report to our Director of Customer Success, Simone, an experienced school leader, and be part of a highly experienced Customer Success team with deep educational backgrounds. You will work closely with colleagues in our Oslo, Munich, and London offices.

  • Resources to succeed: We equip you to succeed. You will work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Product teams, ensuring you have the materials and support needed to help schools thrive.

  • Endless growth opportunities in a scaling company: As a scale-up, we are continuously evolving. This gives you the opportunity to take on new challenges, grow your role, and make a real impact as we expand.

  • Flexibility that respects your experience: A remote setup to support a sustainable lifestyle with flexible working around core hours (10:00-15:00).

  • A bonus scheme.

  • Public transport ticket.

  • Mobile phone and Internet subscription.

  • Possibility of car leasing through salary sacrifice - JobAuto.

  • Regular company socials and an annual trip away together.

Every partnership you build and every implementation you lead helps schools reduce the impact of school absence. Through AV1, you'll enable more children to stay connected to learning and belonging while supporting their successful return to the classroom.

Location & Practicalities

Location: North Rhine–Westphalia (NRW) or South-West Germany.

The role is primarily remote, but includes regular travel, visiting customers and partners across the region.
