The Technical Manager must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Technical Managers are the primary technical resource for the sales force. Technical Manager are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. Technical Manager should work very closely with System Integrators & partners in our target market segments. TM must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned SI/ Partner to assure SI/ partner satisfaction through all stages of the association. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners throughout the sales cycle.
Requirement:
• 10–15 years of pre-sales and post-sales technical experience in the networking field.
• Proven field pre-sales experience within India and enterprise customers.
• Skilled in competitive product analysis and positioning solutions based on customer requirements.
• Capable of technically closing complex and competitive opportunities through advanced product knowledge, technical expertise, and credibility.
• Identify revenue-impacting support escalations and proactively engage with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.
• Actively collaborate and communicate with Product Management, Business Units, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Broad understanding of the security threat landscape and the IT security industry—past, present, and future.
• Serve as a trusted advisor in key accounts, ensuring effective coordination between sales, support, and R&D to deliver high customer satisfaction.
• Strong knowledge of cloud solution offerings, particularly SaaS.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills. Demonstrates leadership initiative and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to develop solutions by translating customer business requirements into integrated technical solutions.
• Monitor and support partners during large project implementations, providing guidance and management throughout the project lifecycle.
Engineering graduate. Engineering with an MBA will be preferred
Proven sales skills with end customers, preferably with channel interaction as a benefit, with at least 8-10 years proven experience.
Excellent product knowledge and ability to apply features and benefits of products to user needs as well as proven history in learning new product sets and features and applying these to customer sales opportunities.
Solution selling skill and knowledge/ understanding of Enterprise Application and technology
Ability to keep customers abreast of technological developments and trends and competitive activity and communicate relevant information to customer base.
Ability to work with Channel and manage end user sales .
Understanding of channel, distribution and IT market landscape.
Understanding of Application delivery & security solution as well as other complimentary products and partners.
Good track record in the industry
