About Us

Aonic is an end-to-end drone solutions company. We began by providing drone services and have since evolved into a comprehensive solutions provider - creating our own drones, supplying major brands like DJI, and expanding into smart lifestyle products.

With expertise across B2B and B2C segments, we deliver end-to-end solutions through six integrated verticals: agriculture, industrial, services, retail, academy and lifestyle. Our mission is to empower businesses and end users with innovative ecosystems that drive efficient living through smart technology.

Our Lifestyle vertical is the authorised distributor of LiberNovo, the world’s first dynamic ergonomic chair - a motorised ergonomic chair that moves with your spine. LiberNovo raised US$7.7 million on Kickstarter, picked up 5 awards at CES 2026, and is used by 50,000+ people across 70 countries. We are now opening its first retail store in Malaysia.

About the Role

We are opening the first LiberNovo retail store in Malaysia at Mid Valley Megamall this October, and we are looking for a Store Lead to take full ownership of it. You will join about a month before opening day - helping set up the store, build the operating playbook with our team and the brand’s HQ, hire and train the founding retail crew, and then run the store day to day.

This is not a typical retail outlet. The store is built as an experience space: customers spend around 20 minutes in guided demos across scene-based zones, and every chair is delivered from our warehouse rather than carried out - so your floor is 100% about experience and conversion, not stock-keeping. You will report to the HQ team, work retail shifts alongside your crew, and set the standard for how the store performs, runs, and is staffed.

Key Responsibilities

Launch and set-up (Sep - Oct 2026)

• Be part of the store set-up team: visual merchandising, demo unit installation, POS go-live, and opening readiness checks

• Complete product and sales training with the brand’s HQ trainers, then localise the sales scripts, demo flow, FAQ and staff appraisal framework for the Malaysian team

• Recruit the founding team: identify headcount gaps, work with HR on sourcing, conduct first-round interviews and shortlist for HQ approval

• Run the grand opening and 30-day launch campaign on the ground: opening lucky draw, gifts-with-purchase, promo mechanics and lead capture

Sales and performance

• Own store revenue: monitor daily sales, footfall and demo-to-conversion rates, and run action plans to hit monthly targets

• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports with commentary on trends, issues and opportunities

• Coach the team on the guided demo experience and objection handling - including confident, honest answers to online marketplace price comparisons

• Review individual sales performance and verify commission records before monthly submission to HQ

Store operations

• Own day-to-day operations, opening/closing SOPs, security and customer experience standards

• Plan staff schedules around traffic patterns - weekends run roughly 3x weekday footfall, so rosters are weekend-weighted with queue management at peak

• Manage the warehouse-fulfilled sales model: coordinate customer delivery orders, and keep demo units, merchandise and spare parts inventories accurate

• Keep demo units in showroom condition, coordinate servicing when needed, and maintain displays, pricing tags and visual merchandising

• Handle frontline aftersales: WhatsApp customer service flow, warranty cases, returns policy, and escalation to HQ through to resolution

Content, livestream and events

• Run the store’s daily livestream programme (TikTok Live with in-stream checkout, plus FB/IG) - own the roster and scripts, and coach staff to present on camera

• Make the store an always-on content set: same-day UGC capture and reposts, customer review generation, and support for KOL live-commerce sessions

• Host monthly in-store activations - posture check days with physio partners, ergonomics workshops, product launch previews - and receive corporate/B2B visitors

• Take on other ad-hoc initiatives related to the store as needed

About You

• At least 2 years of retail experience, with supervisory or store management experience preferred

• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluent Mandarin is strongly preferred.

• Strong sense of ownership, with solid organisational and people-management skills

• Comfortable with sales data and reporting tools (Excel/Google Sheets); POS experience a plus

• Confident making day-to-day calls on scheduling, staffing and store operations

• Comfortable being on camera for livestreams and store content, or willing to learn

• Able to work retail shifts including weekends and public holidays; overtime eligibility in line with company policy

• Willing to be based at Mid Valley Megamall; able to start by early September 2026

What We Offer

• Lead a flagship store launch from day one - a rare chance to build a retail operation from the ground up, not inherit one

• Direct training from the brand’s international HQ team before opening

• Competitive salary with sales-linked incentives

• A clear growth path as the LiberNovo retail network expands in the region
