  • We are trusted by over 450 million active users every month across 190+ countries
  • We identify over 15 billion calls daily, helping users avoid spam and scams
  • We are powered by a team of 450+ employees from 45+ nationalities

We always look for people who take initiative, own their work, and keep raising the bar. An entrepreneurial mindset matters here, especially when it turns bold ideas into real actions. We stay collaborative and focused, always searching for smarter paths forward. If you want to make an impact and grow with a team that inspires millions, you’ll fit right in.

The role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack, you will be involved in the whole cycle of product development on the web. You will own the B2B platform with authenticated dashboards, complex permissions, subscription flows, regional behavior, and several server-side integrations. Everything you release will reach 500 million of our users, which requires solid focus on the end user experience and usability.

What you’ll do:

  • Own features across Vue components, Nuxt pages, layouts, middleware, Vuex modules, and server routes.
  • Build operational workflows such as onboarding, account administration, member management, messaging, webhooks, analytics, billing, and verified-business products.
  • Design maintainable state and data flows across a large collection of namespaced Vuex modules.
  • Integrate multiple REST services, including region-specific endpoints, authentication, CRM, analytics, telecom, and payment providers.
  • Maintain authentication flows including OTP, 2FA, trusted devices, secure sessions, permissions, and subscription-based feature access.
  • Develop responsive, accessible interfaces with Vuetify and the existing SCSS architecture.
  • Write unit, integration, and browser-level tests for critical workflows.
  • Diagnose production issues involving browser behavior, APIs, state, permissions, and third-party services.
  • Preserve and extend CSP, cookie, CORS, CSRF, and XSS protections.
  • Improve the codebase incrementally, particularly JavaScript-to-TypeScript adoption, component decomposition, test coverage, and legacy Vue patterns.
  • Mentor engineers, review designs and pull requests, and help establish practical frontend engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with product, design, backend, security, QA, and infrastructure teams.

What you bring in:

  • 5+ years of web engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated ability.
  • Strong production experience with Vue 3, including Composition API, component lifecycle, composables, reactivity, and reusable component design.
  • Production experience with Nuxt 3, including file-based routing, layouts, route middleware, runtime configuration, SSR/client boundaries, and Nitro/H3 server routes.
  • Advanced JavaScript and TypeScript skills, including typing asynchronous APIs.
  • Experience with complex client-side state management using Vuex, Pinia, Redux, or an equivalent library.
  • Strong understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, Axios or Fetch, interceptors, error handling, authentication, token refresh, and multi-service integration.
  • Experience building data-heavy B2B interfaces: forms, tables, filtering, pagination, dialogs, file uploads, bulk operations, and multi-step workflows.
  • Strong CSS skills, including responsive design, SCSS, Flexbox, Grid, and working within an established component system such as Vuetify.
  • Practical web security knowledge covering secure cookies, CSP, CORS, CSRF, XSS, secrets, input validation, and safe third-party script integration.
  • Experience testing Vue applications using Vitest/Jest, Vue Test Utils, DOM test environments, and API mocking.
  • Ability to independently debug issues spanning the browser, frontend state, server routes, external APIs, and deployment configuration.
  • Evidence of technical leadership through mentoring, architectural decisions, code reviews, incident handling, or ownership of major product areas.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Vuetify 3 and Vuelidate.
  • Firebase Hosting and Firebase Cloud Functions on Node.js.
  • Internationalized applications using Vue I18n or a similar framework.
  • Multi-region, multi-tenant, role-based, or subscription-gated SaaS platforms.
  • Payment or subscription systems, particularly Chargebee.
  • CRM and customer-platform integrations such as Salesforce, Zoho, CleverTap, GTM, or Vitally.
  • Telecom or communications APIs.
  • Browser automation with Playwright or Cypress.
  • Accessibility testing and WCAG implementation.
  • Frontend performance profiling, bundle analysis, caching, and code splitting.
  • Experience modernizing a mixed Options API/Composition API and JavaScript/TypeScript codebase without disruptive rewrites.

What we offer:

We support growth through learning resources, leadership programs, mentoring, and real hands-on work. People can move between teams and projects to build new skills and keep things interesting. We offer clear internal mobility and a transparent path for progression, with leaders who stay involved and provide guidance throughout the year. In addition, you will benefit from:

  • A comprehensive compensation package:  Learning and development allowance, voluntary provident fund (VPF) and/or national pension scheme (NPS) tax saving option provided, creche allowance
  • Modern tools to do your best work: Choose your preferred computer and phone within our budget, so you can work comfortably and efficiently.
  • A people-focused office culture: We value in-person collaboration and follow an office-first model, with some flexibility. Our offices offer a vibrant environment with opportunities to learn, connect, and recharge, from breakfast, lunch and quiet spaces to team activities such as movie nights, tech meetups, and cultural events. There's something for everyone.
  • Truecaller’s “Lab Days” offer a space for imagination: 5 days each quarter, where everyone steps away from their normal tasks to explore new, bold ideas and build things they’ve always wanted to. It’s a space where curiosity leads the way, and prototypes take shape. Some concepts even make it into production, and a few have grown into real features used by millions today. Lab Days allow you to be creative, learn fast, and help shape Truecaller's future.
