Key Responsibilities
- Develop layout plans and sections for structural components using AutoCAD
- Prepare and submit RFIs, coordinating design details with customers, engineers, and other trade partners
- Perform load calculations based on design criteria specified in contract documents
- Manage multiple active projects at once while meeting assigned deadlines
- Take on additional project-related tasks as needed to support the team
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Ability to translate 2D drawings into an accurate 3D understanding of how components fit together
- Degree and/or hands-on experience in a CAD-related field
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support coworkers and customers beyond core duties
- Prior experience in structural detailing preferred
