Job Summary

Services Key Account Manager (multiple openings)

 

The position is located at Tetra Pak headquarters in Denton, TX. 


Up to 75% of domestic travel required per year.


Telecommuting permitted 2 days per week.


Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

As a Services Key Account Manager, you will: 

 

Manage sales of Tetra Pak's food processing and packaging equipment, develop business strategy, manage price quotations, oversee customer satisfaction, and supervise account management for key accounts. Oversee technical sales business development for these key customers. Oversee the development, implementation and completion of service account plans and targets. Define account specific objectives, strategies, and actions that address both customer needs and are in alignment with customer business strategies. Oversee the provision of support services to existing customers, ensuring our clients' as well as Tetra Pak's business goals are met. Assess customers' operations and performance to detect improvement potential or issues. Oversee product selection and specifications, pricing, regulatory issues, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Advise customers of viable Tetra Pak solutions for their business needs, ensuring mutual growth and profitability. Oversee the provision of technical and portfolio recommendations to our customers for product development and improvement. Assign and direct work in progress for professional employees. Review and approve the work of professional employees. Monitor employee performance and provide performance feedback.

We believe you have

We believe you have: 

 

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Food Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of experience with technical sales management, production management, or related. In the alternative, will accept an Associate’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Food Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of experience with technical sales management, production management, or related.

Must have:

 

1.    Experience with food processing manufacturing;
2.    Experience overseeing quality assurance activities;
3.    Experience developing production and quality plans;
4.    Experience working on dairy and beverage technologies;
5.    Experience with maintenance systems including food packaging/processing line monitoring data analysis; and
6.    Experience conducting food packaging and processing equipment and line performance evaluations.
