What is the job like?
Every day, you will enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Entering and interacting with production areas to perform water, environmental, equipment, compressed air, and nitrogen sampling in order to comply with monitoring plans.
- Working in the microbiology laboratory, conducting analyses of water, raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished products, stability samples, finished products, and microbiological assessments.
- Preparing culture media and performing growth promotion testing to evaluate their microbiological quality.
- Performing verification and validation of microbiological analytical methods.
- Developing and executing protocols, reports, and documentation for validated microbiological methods.
- Operating specialized equipment involved in microbiological control processes.
Your Contribution
To make the most of this role, you should have:
- A professional degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field, with a valid professional license/registration.
- Intermediate English proficiency, as it is required for interactions during inspections and site visits.
- A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in the manufacturing of non-sterile products.
- Solid knowledge of microbiological analytical methods, monitoring of critical utility/support systems, and microbiological validations.
- Strong self-management skills to plan and carry out tasks independently and effectively.
- Assertive communication and influencing skills to facilitate the implementation of improvements within the organization.
