CEMARK has an exciting opportunity to join the IT team as a Application Lead who will be responsible for the business application landscape across all Cemark CRH Ukraine business lines (Cement, RMC, Aggregates, Precast). This role will lead the development of a scalable, modern, and value-driven application strategy, manage a small cross-functional team, and play a key role in rationalizing, integrating, and modernizing legacy and siloed systems. This is a unique opportunity to shape the application future of a rapidly growing company within a multinational group, while driving impact across business operations, digitalization, and M&A integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Landscape Strategy

  • Assess the current landscape of business applications across all functions (HR, RMC, logistics, production, weighbridge, dispatch, etc.)
  • Develop, own and coordinate application roadmap ensuring alignment with business priorities and company strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate, modernize, or retire legacy systems.

Application Governance & Delivery

  • Develop and maintain a framework for application selection, prioritization, and lifecycle management (build vs. buy, standard vs. custom).
  • Lead prioritization of enhancements, fixes, and new developments in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Ensure applications are scalable, integrated, and aligned with enterprise architecture and security policies.
  • Oversee delivery of application changes and related projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and alignment with roadmap.
  • Actively manage integrations (e.g., with SAP, OKTA, BI tools) and contribute to digital enablement (e.g., S&OP, TMS, portals).

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Manage and develop a small team, fostering a culture of ownership, excellence, and business partnership.
  • Identify additional skill needs and support the gradual growth of internal capabilities for application maintenance, support, and delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

  • Partner with functional leads and application product owners to ensure business needs are met.
  • Participate in governance forums (e.g., IT SteerCo) to represent the application portfolio and integration roadmap.
  • Manage relationships with internal service providers (CRH International Technology) and external vendors for support and development.

Key Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, with 3+ years in application or solution management
  • Demonstrated experience in managing enterprise or cross-functional business applications
  • Experience with manufacturing or supply chain businesses (e.g., Cement, RMC) is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, 1C), business processes, and software lifecycle management

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills: able to identify core issues and propose practical, scalable solutions
  • Understanding of application integration, architecture, and business process support
  • People leadership experience and ability to mentor and grow a small technical/functional team
  • Clear, structured communicator, able to translate between IT and business stakeholders
  • Fluent in Ukrainian and English
