Location:

The Regional Manager, Megasys is a field-based role located in San Jose, CA (or the surrounding Bay Area).  Approximately 25% domestic and international travel is required to meet business needs.

 

Your Role:

EMD Electronics is seeking a Regional Manager for its OEM customers.  The Regional Manager will be responsible for the operations of multiple sites in a semiconductor manufacturing environment that makes the chips used in electronic devices such as smart phones, LED's, and flat screen TVs. This is a challenging, fast paced, rewarding job opportunity for people who want to join a growing business.

The Regional Manager position has the primary responsibility for the overall direction and leadership of the on-site Megasys® operation teams in their regions.  This includes ensuring the customer scope of service is properly supported and resourced to attain a safe operation, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.  The Regional Manager is a customer-facing position responsible for escalations and finding new opportunities for growth in their region.

 

  • Establishes and cascades goals and objectives for overall site operations.
  • Acts as primary interface between regional MEGASYS teams and EMD management and support groups.
  • Responsible & accountable for the safe operation at all customer sites in the region.
  • Responsible & accountable for the execution of an operational excellence business model at MEGASYS sites in the region.
  • Supports Site Managers in prioritizing resources and site initiatives that align with organizational and customer goals.
  • Supports Megasys® and customer base by being the operational escalation point for our MEGASYS teams.
  • Responsible for the development of the regional leadership team.
  • Develops and monitors key performance indicators across the region.
  • Collaborate with EMD commercial partners on changes to the TCGM operating agreement, including operational changes, modifications to scope of work, and fees for service in the region. 

 

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering or related technical degree.  Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • 10+ years progressively responsible related experience in operations or industrial related field.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to motivate and influence others to act.  Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to present material in a clear, concise manner, appropriate to the level of the audience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer software in a business environment; Microsoft Office preferred.  
  • Semiconductor industry experience is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated aptitude to learn and operate the company’s computer systems related to the position (SAP, Oracle, etc.)  Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with labor models and ERP.
  • Exhibited ability to lead a large organization of similar size and scope to meet safety, health and environmental standards.
  • Proven understanding and familiarity with OSHA regulations; must have solid knowledge of the ISO quality systems.
  • Experience incorporating solutions to drive operational strategies around cost reduction, and Continuous Improvement.

 

Pay Range for this position: $220,000 - $250,000

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
