Main responsibilities
Administration & Management of EHS requirements:
- Support of internal / external ISO 9000 & IATF16949 audit.
- Responsible for the safety of the workplace with fulfilling the requirement from both local organization and regional requirements.
Product application and Project management:
- Handles management and resource planning for country TD team to prioritize projects & customers, monitor and prioritize resources as needed to ensure proper success rate.
- Aligns Technical Development resources with local sales needs to achieve trial and troubleshooting requests.
- Analyzes all opportunities, Identifies, coordinates, and follows up development of new customers business, new applications, relevant processing technologies.
- Coaches & drives Technical Development team in all customer/processing related requests.
- Aligns Technical Development resources with country Sales head to achieve local sales team support requirements.
- Secures Know-how/IP protection with PMD/Technical Development teams.
- Work closely with product management team to ensure reliable supply, monitor RM/FG cost and process optimization project to ensure competitiveness on market.
- Ensure that lab equipment for CASE in ATDC (Application & Technical Development Center) is well-maintained, always calibrated in desired frequency and in perfect working condition, particularly equipment used in daily Quality Control.
Technical support of market strategy:
- Drive as a coordinate to consolidate ASEAN CASE business update (data collection from CASE ASEAN Sales colleagues) & project update for timely and monthly update/report to CASE regional team.
- Identify and provide the guidance on CASE target applications, mapping with ASEAN country requirements.
- Provide technical inputs/ recommendation to strategy development.
- Visit customers to collect and analyze field information for industry trends.
- Aligns Technical Development resources with country Sales needs to achieve business support requirements.
- Aligns with regional CASE Technical development team and collaborate with CASE research developments regional team for having a necessary to drive and strive for a project achievement.
- Manages resources for TD/TS to achieve SBU/BM/country strategy targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in the polyurethane industry, preferably in technical service or R&D, with exposure to polyurethane coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers markets.
- Expertise knowledge in PU System from product properties, product development, application development, processing technology.
- Good understanding on technical perspective on the related target applications of footwear industry.
- Full experience of PU applications in Automotive or CASE industries.
- Strong written and spoken English skills, with good computer literacy.
