Job Duties:
- The CWS Case Worker Assistant - Permanency provides daily assistance to CWS Case Managers in the Low Country Permanency Office (Adoptions) in the areas of Foster Care and Adoption case management services.
- Provides or arranges transportation to resources in the community as a part of social service aide plan.
- Participates as a member of a professional team to plan services for clients.
- Makes requests for educational, medical, dental, law enforcement records etc.
- Makes referrals to service providers, family group conferencing, Seneca search etc.
- Assists with the completion of Foster Care Review Board packets, IV-E packets, Home Studies, ICPC packets, Child Background Summaries and Legal Packets etc.
- Assists with the transportation of children.
- Assists with child and family visitation.
- Assists with other administrative support functions to include correspondences, copy, fax, email etc.
- Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor. Performs shelter/emergency response duties when needed and as directed (FTE only).
- Ensures that personal identifying information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared and disposed. Protects the agency networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment and data.
Associate Degree or higher may be substituted for all or part of the work requirements. Supplemental information
