As Breakfast Chef, you will focus on delivering high-quality breakfast, buffet, and banqueting experiences while supporting the smooth kitchen operation and help deliver memorable dining experiences for our guests, groups, and events every day.

 

Responsibilities• Prepare and present breakfast buffets to a consistently high standard• Support the preparation and production of conference breaks, group lunches, dinners, and banqueting events• Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to recipe, quality, and brand standards• Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times• Monitor stock levels and support inventory management to minimise waste• Ensure kitchen areas remain clean, organised, and fully operational throughout service• Work closely with colleagues across all kitchen sections to ensure efficient service delivery• Contribute creative ideas for buffet presentation and guest dining experiences• Support the onboarding and development of junior kitchen team members• Deliver a memorable guest experience through exceptional food quality and consistency

 

Essential Requirements• Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie, or in a similar role within a professional kitchen• Passion for high-volume food production, buffet service, and large-scale catering operations• Good knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and hygiene regulations• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure• Good command of English and the ability to work effectively within an international team• Eligible to work in the Netherlands

 

Preferred Requirements• Experience within a hotel, conference, or banqueting kitchen environment• Experience preparing meals for groups, events, and buffet-style service• Experience working in a multicultural team environment

This position is classified under the Dutch Hospitality Collective Labour Agreement (Horeca CAO, Scale V) with a starting salary from €2,505.04 gross per month based on full-time employment.
