Job Title: Therapy Area Partner – Gastroenterology & Biosimilars

Job Purpose
The Therapy Area Partner (TAP) is a strategic, field-based role responsible for improving patient access, treatment adoption, and healthcare outcomes for Jamjoom Pharma's Gastroenterology biosimilar portfolio, with a primary focus on Zenvyia®.
The Therapy Area Partner (TAP) serves as the primary interface between Jamjoom Pharma and the Gastroenterology ecosystem, partnering with healthcare professionals, hospital management, payers, procurement teams, pharmacists, nurses, and other key stakeholders to identify barriers within the patient journey and co-create sustainable solutions that enhance access to treatment.
This role extends beyond traditional pharmaceutical sales and requires strong expertise in biologics, biosimilars, market access, healthcare systems, and strategic stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Healthcare Ecosystem Engagement
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with Gastroenterologists, IBD specialists, Heads of Departments, pharmacists, nurses, procurement teams, and hospital management.
- Develop a deep understanding of treatment pathways, referral networks, and patient access challenges across assigned healthcare institutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Zenvyia® throughout the patient journey.
- Create and strengthen a collaborative ecosystem of healthcare stakeholders.
2. Patient Access & Journey Optimization
- Map and continuously evaluate patient journeys to identify opportunities for earlier diagnosis, treatment initiation, improved adherence, and persistence.
- Partner with Market Access and payer stakeholders to improve reimbursement and patient access.
- Identify operational barriers impacting patient outcomes and recommend practical solutions.
- Support patient support programs and collaborate with external service providers where applicable.
3. Strategic Account Management
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned institutions.
- Partner with procurement and purchasing teams to support formulary inclusion and institutional adoption.
- Engage decision-makers to improve healthcare outcomes while delivering value to healthcare systems.
- Drive execution excellence through stakeholder mapping and account planning.
4. Clinical & Product Leadership
- Act as a trusted expert in Gastroenterology biosimilars by providing scientific, clinical, and health-economic insights.
- Lead discussions around clinical evidence, treatment protocols, and real-world outcomes.
- Support healthcare professionals in understanding the value proposition of Zenvyia®.
- Monitor competitive activities, treatment guidelines, and market trends.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial Excellence, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams.
- Share customer insights to influence business strategy and resource allocation.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives focused on improving patient outcomes and business performance.
6. Compliance & Governance
- Conduct all activities in accordance with company policies, ethical standards, local regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation, CRM updates, and timely reporting of field activities
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare discipline.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification in Healthcare Management or Business Administration is
- an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Gastroenterology, Immunology, Biologics, or Biosimilars.
- Experience launching biologics or biosimilars is highly preferred.
- Experience in Market Access, Institutional Business, or Strategic Account Management is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of UAE healthcare systems, payer landscape, procurement processes, and reimbursement pathways.
- Knowledge of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) treatment pathways is preferred.

Travel Requirement
- Frequent travel within the assigned territory across the UAE.
