Due to an internal career move within the business, we are currently seeking a Project Administrator to join our Sydney office on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing team while supporting the successful delivery of engineering and consulting projects across a diverse range of sectors.

The Opportunity

As a Project Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting Project Leaders and Project Directors to deliver projects efficiently and effectively. You will contribute to project financial management, reporting, documentation and administrative processes while ensuring a high level of service to both internal and external stakeholders.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of projects and disciplines while providing opportunities for ongoing learning, development and career progression within a growing national consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project administration support across engineering projects, including project setup, documentation management and project close-out activities.
  • Support project financial management through invoicing, forecasting, reporting, debtor tracking and commercial administration.
  • Coordinate project documentation, contracts, purchase orders, supplier invoices and project records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals, fee schedules and client deliverables while supporting Project Leaders and Directors.
  • Organise meetings, maintain project and marketing resources, and contribute to the efficient operation of project teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator or similar role.
  • Previous experience within engineering, construction, consulting or professional services environments will be highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong internal customer service focus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with project management, financial or ERP systems.
