About the RoleAs a Room Leader, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported to reach their full potential. You will lead your team in delivering exceptional educational programs and maintaining the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and support a team of educators.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging learning experiences in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and the broader community.
- Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS), policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and document children's learning and development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Previous experience as a Room Leader or experienced Senior Educator.
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards.
- Current NSW Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting children's development.
- $42.58 per hour.
