Position Summary:
CereCore is seeking an experienced Oncology Clinical Informaticist for our parent company HCA. This role requires a background in medication order set design, clinical workflows, and electronic health record (EHR) configuration. This role will play a critical part in supporting clinical decision-making by maintaining and enhancing standardized order sets, clinical parameters, and build components within the MEDITECH Expanse platform.
The ideal candidate will have clinical experience, a working knowledge of medication safety standards, and the ability to partner with interdisciplinary stakeholders, including clinicians, pharmacists, and IT teams, to ensure the system supports safe, efficient, and compliant patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business leaders, product owners/analysts, and technical solution providers across the enterprise
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and informaticists to design clinically relevant, evidence-based order sets
- Perform validation and upgrade support to ensure functionality and safety with each MEDITECH release
- Document system build, testing outcomes, and governance approvals to meet compliance and audit standards
- Partner with internal governance bodies to manage change control and versioning of standardized clinical content
Requirements:
- Credentialed RN or Pharm. D
- Clinical oncology experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Proven experience in Healthcare Integration analysis and/or integration engineering
- Experience participating in order set governance, formulary alignment, and provider optimization initiatives
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks related to medication management
- Effective communicator with the ability to translate clinical needs into technical requirements and collaborate with diverse teams
- Experience supporting system testing, validation, and production deployment of new build components
