Leisure & Wellness Coordinator
Part Time | 3 Days Per Week (Monday to Wednesday)
Ermington location

As a Leisure & Wellness Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in creating engaging experiences that help residents continue doing the things they love, explore new interests, maintain important connections and find meaning in daily life.

This is more than an activities role. You'll be a champion for wellbeing, working closely with residents, families and care teams to create a vibrant living environment that supports physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellness.

What you'll be doing

Working within our Residential Aged Care team, you'll:
• Design, coordinate and deliver meaningful leisure, lifestyle and wellness programs tailored to residents' individual interests and goals.
• Create opportunities for residents to stay connected to their community, culture, life experiences and personal passions.
• Develop engaging programs, events and activities that enrich daily living and enhance quality of life.
• Create and maintain vibrant living resources including activity calendars, event schedules, newsletters and resident engagement materials.
• Support care teams to embed wellness and meaningful engagement into everyday care.
• Monitor resident participation and wellbeing outcomes, ensuring activities remain inclusive and person-centred.
• Complete documentation, wellness plans and reporting requirements to meet quality and compliance standards.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify gaps, opportunities and improvements that enhance the resident experience.
• Build relationships with community groups, volunteers and external partners to create meaningful opportunities for residents.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you'll have:
• Experience in Leisure & Wellness, Lifestyle, Aged Care or a similar resident-focused environment.
• A genuine passion for improving the wellbeing and quality of life of older people.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple programs and activities.
• Experience completing documentation, maintaining records and reporting on outcomes.
• Confidence identifying opportunities for continuous improvement through audits, observations and feedback.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A creative and proactive approach to engaging residents and creating meaningful experiences.
• Digital literacy and confidence using technology to create calendars, communications and resident engagement resources.
