Job Summary:
Better Together (BT) is a national, evidence-based physician coaching program founded by Drs. Tyra Fainstad and Adrienne Mann. The program provides confidential, online coaching to medical students, residents, fellows, faculty physicians, and advanced practice providers across the United States. BT has grown from a single-site pilot program to a national initiative serving thousands of healthcare professionals at academic medical centers, teaching hospitals, and healthcare organizations nationwide. Research has demonstrated significant improvements in burnout, self-compassion, flourishing, and professional fulfillment among participants.
The part-time Business Services Professional will operate as BT’s Client Relations Specialist, serving as the primary relationship liaison for participating institutions and playing a key role in client retention, customer satisfaction, account growth, and strategic outreach. This position will partner closely with program leadership including Drs Mann and Fainstad as well as the BT Program Administrator to ensure that institutional clients receive exceptional service, meaningful program data, and ongoing support throughout their engagement with Better Together.
Beyond traditional account management responsibilities, this position will be an essential partner in shaping Better Together. By building deep relationships with institutional partners and identifying emerging needs across academic medicine, the Client Relations Specialist will help guide program development, inform new educational offerings, and ensure that Better Together continues to evolve in ways that provide exceptional value to the institutions and healthcare professionals it serves.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as primary contact for participating institutions.
Coordinate onboarding and annual enrollment.
Act as a liaison with the Program Administrator and DFA for client invoicing and contracting
Develop methods to maximize client satisfaction and retention.
Serve as a key partner to the Better Together leadership team, participating in strategic planning, program development, and organizational decision-making.
Utilize professional coaching skills to facilitate meaningful conversations with institutional partners, uncover underlying organizational needs, and help translate those needs into innovative programming and solutions.
Translate program outcomes into actionable information.
Represent Better Together at conferences and networking events.
Assist with marketing materials.
Coordinate contracts, invoices, and renewals.
Work Location:
Remote – This role is eligible to work remotely, but the employee must be in the United States.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
One (1) year of professional experience in advanced administrative support.
An advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree.
Experience as a professional coach or educator.
Experience with academic medicine or healthcare organizations.
Experience with CRM systems and virtual collaboration tools.
Experience managing busy calendars and meeting coordination (Currently using Calendly, WordPress, MailChimp, and Outlook).

This role is eligible to work remotely, but the employee must be in the United States.
This role is eligible for a flexible work schedule, which may include occasional evening meetings. Work schedule will be developed with supervisor’s approval.
Occasional travel to conferences or partner meetings may be required. Travel to non-campus sites is at the employee’s expense.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position as a 1.0 FTE has been established as $54,656 – $73,239. However, this role may be hired at a fractional FTE between .50 - .75 and the salary would be pro-rated accordingly.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
