We are seeking a 3D Designer - Piping and Mechanical to join Beca’s growing Industrial team. Must be sufficiently experienced with piping design, 3D mechanical design, understand AutoCAD Plant 3D Project setup and a good understanding of AutoCAD Plant 3D data manager.
This role will be based in Beca’s Jakarta office.
Responsibilities:
· AutoCAD Plant 3D software loading and project setup.
Working closely with other engineers and 3D designers.
Piping specifications, specialty items customization & catalogues preparation.
Coordinating work sharing activities with Beca teams in based in Australia & New Zealand.
Extraction of various reports like interferences, reports, MTO’s, line list, design parameters, and insulation.
Manage internal training.
Able to prepare smart P&IDs, 3D mechanical and equipment modeling.
Troubleshooting of AutoCAD Plant 3D user level and advance user level problems.
Day-to-day administrative activities like Project Archival, Retrieval, Back Up, etc.
Perform conceptual and detailed piping & other mechanical designs.
Administration of AutoCAD Plant 3D model, customization to suit project requirements, and support to multi-discipline end users of model.
Work closely with discipline leads of projects to understand their requirements and address their demand on time.
Manage and allocate work to a team of 3D designers while managing workload within the team.
Good understanding of process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping & instrument diagrams (P&IDs), piping system design, material handling methods, equipment, functional & installation specifications.
Requirements:
Holding Bachelor (S1) Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, or other engineering degree based on prior work experiences Engineering Degree.
Having minimum 5-10 years of experience in Piping/Plant Design, AutoCAD Plant 3D or consultant or EPC.
Knowledge of Code and Standards, such as ASME, ASTM, API, NFPA, DIN, etc. that relates to process & mechanical engineering.
Hands on experience in AutoCAD Plant 3D, P&IDs and AutoCAD 3D is a MUST
Good level of English skills for both written and conversation, able to communicate efficiently with fluent English-speaking teams.
Proficient in MS suite of Apps – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.
Able to work in a team as team player with positive attitude.
Strong report writing and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to learn new processes and applications.
Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage and/or Mining & Metals industries.
Jakarta based.
