Accounting Supervisor (Payroll) (Ref:260000OA)

Responsibilities

• Perform all-rounded payroll activities, including monthly payroll and other non-recurrent remuneration payments, employer tax returns, retirement scheme contributions and related scheme reporting
• Supervise payroll of secondees and MPF/ORSO retirement scheme benefit payments
• Provide accounting and financial support to the Payroll Office of the Finance Function
• Liaise and coordinate with HR business partners and handle staff inquiries
• Perform analyses and process improvements
• Assist in Human Resources Management System (HRMS) or related system enhancement projects and user acceptance tests
   

Requirements

• Grade E / Level 2 / "Attained" or above in 5 subjects of HKCEE / HKDSE, including English and Chinese Languages and Mathematics, preferably with post-secondary education in Accountancy / Human Resources Management or a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
• Knowledge of Inland Revenue Ordinance, Employment Ordinance and other relevant statutory requirements
• Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Payroll System and Oracle Financial System
• Detail-oriented with good numerical sense and proactive attitude
• Good change management skills and ability to work independently under pressure
• Strong awareness and sensitivity on handling confidential information and payroll matters
