Job Description
Do you want to be a Hardware Intern for ANS? These should spark your interest:
- Assembling and testing electronic modules and prototypes;
- Building and maintaining test equipment and validation setups;
- Supporting component ordering and inventory management;
- Maintaining laboratory equipment (calibration, inventory);
- Supporting hardware debugging and troubleshooting activities;
- Preparing and configuring test benches for validation activities;
- Performing soldering, rework and simple hardware modifications;
- Assisting with prototype preparation and sample builds;
- Supporting failure analysis and corrective actions;
- Working closely with hardware engineers during testing and validation activities;
A mentor will support you to gradually take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
Qualifications
You can be a perfect match to our team if you:
- Are an active student pursuing a university degree in Electronics, Automatics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field;
- Have basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics;
- Are interested in hands-on work with electronic hardware, prototypes and laboratory equipment;
- Have basic experience with electronic assembly, soldering or personal/student electronic projects;
- Are familiar with measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters (academic projects are sufficient);
- Have a structured and detail-oriented working style;
- Enjoy troubleshooting and identifying technical issues;
- Are eager to learn about automotive electronics and embedded systems;
- Good English skills, both written and spoken;
- Previous experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, laboratory projects or electronics hobby projects is considered a plus, but not mandatory.
