As our new ME Engineer, you will be spearheading operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives within our APU Pumps operations, turning manufacturing challenges into measurable productivity gains. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you'll create impact by Driving productivity growth, OEE improvement, and digital manufacturing transformation that directly strengthens Grundfos's operational performance and competitive edge.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Lead productivity and OEE improvement initiatives through process optimization, waste reduction, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Identify and implement cost reduction and efficiency improvement projects that deliver measurable operational performance gains
- Support automation and industrialization projects, ensuring timely delivery and sustainable business benefits
- Drive digital manufacturing initiatives including MES deployment, production dashboards, and data-driven decision making
- Resolve production technical issues, improve process stability, reduce downtime, and support capacity expansion
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a hands-on manufacturing engineer with a strong continuous improvement mindset, solid cross-functional collaboration skills, and a drive to modernize production through lean practices and digital solutions.
We would also imagine that you have:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production engineering, process engineering, or continuous improvement
- Proven experience in process optimization, productivity improvement, and operational excellence
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, problem-solving tools, and CI methodologies
