Applications are invited to apply for the position of Supply Operator in the Packaging Department, based at JC Le Roux in Stellenbosch. The successful incumbent will report to the Team Leader- Packaging
Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain effective housekeeping and safety procedures
- General cleaning of machines in the production area
- Assist with change-overs
- Assist with process control and quality on line
- Operate machines from time to time if qualified
- Capturing of process control information and other administrative duties
- Record keeping
- Actively participate in all TPM activities
The successful candidate must have the following qualification, skills and experience:
- Minimum Grade 12 qualification
- Experience within a production/ packaging environment
- Relevant skills programmes qualification will be advantageous
- Willingness and ability to work extended hours and shifts
- Have reliable transport to and from work
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of safe working procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and independently
- Be customer focused
