ELMHS is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and positive individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant 4! The selected candidate for this role will provide administrative and educational support by coordinating documents and reports, performing clerical tasks, tracking hospital expansion needs and progress, assisting with meetings and scheduling, and maintaining records.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:

Job Duties:
In this role, you will:
- Provide support throughout the clinical areas of the East Division and the Forensic Division, Jackson Campus, and deals with issues that are highly complex and confidential in nature.- Compose and type correspondence involving complex and non-routine matters and signs for the Assistant Clinical Director/Clinical Director once content has been authorized.
- Issue division-wide memorandums and responses for informational requests, reports and directives at the Assistant Clinical Director's/Clinical Director's request.
- Assure maximum efficiency in performance of duties as required for smooth office operation including secretarial duties, but not limited to, i.e., receiving and forwarding telephone calls of various types from throughout the hospital, state office, and throughout the state; routine business matters, i.e., dictation, typing, transcribing, filing, handling office mail (incoming and outgoing), screening calls and accommodating visitors; completes travel requests and reimbursements; schedules appointments and establishes appointment priorities or reschedules appointments for Assistant Clinical Director/Clinical Director; maintains calendar of activities and meetings; requisitions office supplies and forwards work order requests when needed.
