About the Role
We're looking for a Technical Program Lead – Insurance Partnerships to help scale Plum's insurer ecosystem. In this role, you'll own the end-to-end execution of insurer integrations, working at the intersection of technology, product, and business. You'll partner with insurance companies, engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver seamless API integrations, drive strategic initiatives, and improve how Plum collaborates with its insurer partners.

What You'll Do
Lead Technical Integrations
Own end-to-end integration of insurer systems with Plum's platform through APIs and data exchange.
Partner closely with Engineering and Product teams to plan, implement, test, and troubleshoot integrations.
Drive successful onboarding of new insurance partners while ensuring high-quality technical execution.
Identify opportunities to improve existing integrations, automate workflows, and enhance partner experience.
Drive Strategic Partnerships
Work closely with leadership on strategic initiatives across insurer partnerships.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for insurer integration programs.
Align internal Product, Engineering, Operations, and Partnership teams to ensure successful execution.
Build scalable processes that improve collaboration and operational efficiency across partner ecosystems.
Program & Project Management
Plan and manage multiple integration programs simultaneously.
Define project plans, milestones, timelines, and success metrics.
Identify dependencies, risks, and implementation bottlenecks, and proactively drive resolution.
Coordinate with external insurer teams to ensure timely delivery and successful launches.
Track program progress, communicate updates to stakeholders, and ensure alignment with business goals.
What We're Looking For
3–6 years of experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Project Management, Solutions Engineering, or Implementation roles.
Experience managing API integrations, system implementations, or enterprise technical projects.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, data exchange, integration workflows, and technical documentation.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across Engineering, Product, Business, and external partners.
Strong program management, planning, and execution capabilities.
Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred
Experience in Insurance, InsurTech, FinTech, SaaS, or enterprise platform integrations.
Experience working with external enterprise customers or technology partners.
