Position Summary:
Responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to internal and external guests. Responsible for slot floor, hand pays, minor machine repairs, currency and coin exchange and Rewards Card sign-ups. Properly implements all Title 31 procedures. Observe and safeguard assets of the Company. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Graton Resort & Casino standards, policies, and
procedures.
3. Process slot jackpots, hand pays, and credit payouts in accordance with approved internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
4. Verify guest identification, tax documentation, and required signatures using electronic tablets and kiosks.
5. Accurately complete electronic and manual documentation related to payouts, machine verification, and guest transactions.
6. Respond to slot machine malfunctions, errors, or guest concerns and coordinate with Slot Technicians, Security, and Supervisory staff as required.
7. Safely transport cash payouts, vouchers, or documentation while maintaining strict confidentiality and asset protection.
8. Maintain awareness of slot floor activity and proactively assist guests.
9. Communicate effectively with supervisors, Security, and other departments.
10. Ability to have clear, friendly, and positive communication with internal and external guests.
11. Handle guest opportunities in a positive and professional manner.
12. Be aware of all activities in assigned area.
13. Inform shift management of guest needs, which may require special accommodation.
14. Keep work areas neat, clean and safe.
15. Required to have a clear understanding of Rewards Card Program and be able to explain it to guests.
16. Be aware and updated on all upcoming events and promotions.
17. Promote enrollment on slot floor by recruiting new Rewards Club sign-ups in assigned areas.
18. Issue Rewards Club cards and input data into system.
19. Reprint Rewards Club cards upon request from a guest.
20. Obtain a minimum of five (5) new floor sign-ups per week.

1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. High School Diploma or equivalent
3. Manual dexterity to work with computer keyboard, machine locks, and small tools to repair minor machine malfunctions. Ability to use equipment, such as: currency counter, calculator, telephone, and handheld radio, or other electronic devices.
4. Basic math skills.
5. Basic money handling skills.
6. Ability to obtain a working understanding of Title 31 requirements. For example, all acceptable or unacceptable currency transactions, MTL and CTRC logging requirements.
7. Maintain positive and effective working relationships with teammates, management, guests, and other departments.
8. Must be at least 21 years of age.   Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
2. Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and crouching to access slot machines and kiosks.
3. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
4. Manual dexterity to operate tablets, keypads, kiosks, and slot machine components.
5. Ability to see, read, and interpret electronic screens, printed materials, and identification documents.
6. Ability to hear and verbally communicate with guests and team members in a noisy casino
environment. Able to hear radio transmissions. Able to communicate clearly on the radio.
7. Ability to work in an environment with bright lights, loud sounds, and continuous activity.
8. Ability to move quickly and safely across the slot floor in response to guest needs or operational
demands.
