As a Product Owner for Persona-based Applications, you will be accountable for maximizing the value delivered through persona-based frontline applications by defining product vision, prioritizing features, managing product roadmaps, and ensuring outcomes align with business objectives.

You will work closely with environmental, operations, and maintenance stakeholders to identify opportunities, prioritize work, and deliver scalable digital inspection and workflow solutions that improve compliance, operational discipline, precision maintenance practices, and frontline execution across Georgia-Pacific facilities.

This role requires someone who understands both manufacturing operations and digital product delivery—someone who can connect strategic business objectives to product execution while driving adoption, value realization, and continuous improvement across Georgia-Pacific facilities.

Location: Atlanta, GA onsite three days per week.

Our Team

The Connected Worker team delivers Industry 4.0 capabilities through persona-based frontline applications that improve safety, quality, reliability, and productivity in our mills and converting facilities.

Our focus is building and scaling connected worker solutions—digital tools that help operators, technicians, and leaders execute standard work consistently and make better decisions in the moment. These applications are designed around distinct frontline personas and real plant conditions, providing the right workflow, data, and context at the point of work.

We work closely with operations leaders and cross-functional technology partners to ensure solutions integrate with core manufacturing systems and align with GP’s broader smart factory roadmap—moving beyond pilots to sustainable, repeatable capabilities deployed across our global network.

What You Will Do

  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog for persona-based frontline applications
  • Lead a cross-functional team of Business Analysts, Developers, and vendor partners to deliver high-value digital solutions
  • Partner with Operations, Capability Leaders, IT, and vendors to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and drive measurable business outcomes
  • Own backlog prioritization, balancing business value, user feedback, support needs, and technical improvements
  • Drive product delivery, manage dependencies, and remove barriers to execution across multiple teams
  • Lead product discovery and engage frontline users to improve inspection, operational, and maintenance workflows
  • Manage product rollout, user adoption, training, and change management activities across the enterprise
  • Monitor product health, adoption, and business outcomes while driving continuous improvement and value realization
  • Communicate roadmap progress, priorities, risks, and results to business and Digital Manufacturing leadership

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Delivery Lead, or similar role delivering digital products and business outcomes
  • Experience working with Agile delivery teams and multi-team environments
  • Experience aligning stakeholders and driving decisions across business and technical organizations
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, maintenance, reliability, quality, or environmental processes
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%
  • Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, Operations, or a related field
  • Experience working in manufacturing, with an understanding of frontline workflows, operational processes, and continuous improvement practices
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools to manage backlogs, epics, features, user stories, dependencies, and delivery status
  • Experience supporting UAT, adoption planning, training content, rollout readiness, or site hypercare for manufacturing applications
  • Leads cross-functional alignment through strong facilitation and influence, translating business requirements and technical constraints into measurable value
