Molex is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Industry Specialist – PCN to support Product Change Notification (PCN) activities by coordinating between customers, manufacturing plants, design centers, and internal stakeholders. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with customer requirements, managing change notifications, and driving customer satisfaction through effective communication and process excellence.Our Team
The DSS Quality Systems team supports global customer-facing Product Change Notification (PCN) activities, ensuring compliant implementation of product and manufacturing changes. Through strong cross-functional collaboration, the team helps enhance customer satisfaction, reduce business risk, and drive operational excellence.What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and Molex facilities for PCN-related activities.
- Review and validate qualification data, customer-facing documentation, and impact analysis reports prior to customer submission.
- Coordinate customer-specific PCN requirements and ensure adherence to Molex policies and processes.
- Track and manage PCN approvals, qualification activities, transition readiness, and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Plants, Product Managers, Change Coordinators, and Global Account Management teams to resolve customer concerns and expedite approvals.
- Develop and maintain PCN metrics, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for PCN rejections and escalations.
- Support customer Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) and strategic customer initiatives.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve PCN processes and customer experience.
- Uphold Koch’s Principle Based Management (PBM®) philosophy and values.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Product Change Notification (PCN), Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong organizational, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of metrology, GD&T, PPAP documentation, First Article Inspection Reports, process capability studies, and quality reporting processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5–10%).
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience as a PCN Specialist, PCN Coordinator, Component Engineer, AQP Engineer, or Quality Engineer.
- Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, Quality Management Systems, and product change management.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality standards.
- Experience supporting global customers in manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Familiarity with electronic assembly, molding, stamping, plating, and manufacturing processes.
