JOB SUMMARY:

Perform final detail operations, checks, and repairs on furniture. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews furniture for imperfections and any final details needing addressed. Uses some judgment on issues and how to resolve them. May work under the guidance of higher-leveled Final Assembler Detailers. 

  • Sanding and buffing of topcoat finish repairing minor issues. Work with stain and tone dept to fix any major issues. 

  • Reviews and repairs all QA squawks. 

  • Mixing paint and finish painting of details such as screw heads. 

  • Disassemble as required for repairs and re-assemble to finished state. 

  • Operates basic power and hand tools such as buffers, drills, grinders, sanders, wrenches and screw drivers. 

  • Responsible only for own work with the ability to train others on assembly operations. 

  • Performs other related duties as required. 

 

Qualifications 

EDUCATION:

Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or bronze level WorkKeys certification. Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

  • 6+ months of assembling or disassembling experience. 

 

 

Working Conditions:

Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust and noise. Safety shoes could be required. 

 

Possible exposure to dust, heat, loud noise. Safety shoes could be required.
